Collaboration Table
In my first semester at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, we got the project "Bring Back the Office Worker" from our client, Ahrend. This project centered around making office workers feel safe enough to come back to their office during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Concept Details
Shapes
Hexagon shapes were used to allow for easy tessellation and more than 4 people at one desk. Individual trapezoidal desks were also an option because they could be turned into larger hexagons or even a larger trapezoid.
Measurements
The measurements of this table were specifically designed to allow for plenty of space between coworkers no matter the configuration. This not only complies with social distancing measures but in the future will also allow for more privacy when working alone.
Surfaces
There were many different options when it came to having a surface what would protect from the COVID-19 virus by either a. being extremely easy to thoroughly disinfect or b. containing a disinfectant substance such as copper.
